Great Rivers Cycling

New Rider Guide

A warm welcome to riders joining the Great Rivers Cycling community

The Great Rivers Cycling community is built on encouragement, kindness, and shared joy. Riders of all experience levels are welcome, and no one is expected to be fast, perfect, or confident on day one. Many of us started by worrying about being too slow, holding others up, or not knowing the “right” way to ride in a group. Those feelings are normal, and they fade quickly once you experience how supportive this community is.

You belong here. You will not be left behind. You will not be judged. You will be welcomed.

Community Vibe

The culture of this group is simple:

We ride because we love bikes, we love the people who ride them, and we love the feeling of being part of something bigger than ourselves.

What to Expect on Group Rides

Group rides that start at Trek O’Fallon are friendly, predictable, and organized around pace groups so everyone can find a comfortable fit.
